NOTES & POLICIES
Discounts
Sign up for all 9 weeks and pay $50 per week per child. Otherwise it’s $65 per week.
Inclement weather
While camp will continue at designated shelter or indoor facility until inclement weather clears. Active games will be played indoors. There are no refunds due to bad weather.
Cancellations/Refunds
There is a non-refundable $30 administration fee per child if you wish to cancel any week of camp. If written cancellation is received by the registration office at least 14 days prior to start of the camp week, a refund (less the non-refundable $30 admin fee per child) will be provided. If written cancellation is made to the registration office within 14 days of camp starting, consideration will be only given to either switching weeks of camp or camp credit for next year. No refunds will be provided once camp has started and days missed for any reason cannot be refunded or made up. There are no refunds given due to bad weather. All refunds will be made after September 1, 2018.
Changes to camp weeks
All changes to your weeks of camp after initial registration are subject to a $10 fee per occurrence.
Extended care / late pick up fee
Extended care is available for $10/camper/week (non-refundable) if picking up your camper(s) on any/all days between 4:30-5:00pm. Any pick up after 5:00pm will be subject to a $15 per 15 minute charge daily. We reserve the right to ask you to withdraw from camp for multiple occurrences past 5:00pm.
Get Active ‘N Play is not responsible for lost of stolen items.
Transportation is NOT Provided
Transportation is not provided to or from camp, however, if camp must travel offsite for any reason, you will be notified by our onsite staff. If your camper is not being signed in by a parent/guardian daily, please complete a Sign in/out release form available during the online registration process.
Sign In/Out
We ask you to sign in and out each day with our staff to help us track attendance and provide security for your camper.
Anti-Bullying Policy
We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all participants in our programs. Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated in our camps. Creating a bully free environment starts with our staff being role models and active participants in the camp experience of all campers.
Medical/Epipen form
For any medical issues or life threatening allergies, please complete the Medical/Epipen form available during the online registration process.
No wait list
We do not have a wait list for any of our camps, however if registering for multiple weeks or multiple family members and a week is unavailable, contact the Registration office at 647 703 1134.
NSF/Stopped Cheques
NSF cheques, stop payments and returned payments are subject to a $25 service charge.
Post Dated Cheques
We require payment to secure your spot. If registering for multiple weeks, you can postdate cheques no later than 14 days prior to each week of camp for the additional weeks. To reserve your spot instantly, please complete the online registration form and make payment by credit card or you may run the risk of the camp filling up before receiving your cheque.
Nut Policy
We strive to maintain a nut-free camp and ask that you refrain from sending peanut or nut products to camp.
Service Animal / Support Persons Policy
We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals. Service animals are allowed on the parts of our premises that are open to the public. A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person accompany them on our premises. Feedback Process
Get Active ‘N Play welcomes feedback on how we provide accessible customer service. Customer feedback will help us identify barriers and respond to concerns. Customers who wish to provide feedback on the way Get Active ‘N Play provides goods, services or facilities to people with disabilities can provide feedback in the following way(s): email, phone, in person (either at our office or camp locations), mail , other forms of communication as needed. All feedback, including complaints, will be dealt with on an individual basis by Managers and Program Director, as needed. Customers can expect to hear back in 1 to 3 days. Get Active ‘N Play will make sure our feedback process is accessible to people with disabilities by providing or arranging for accessible formats and communication supports, on request.
