Play Got Way Too Complicated.

Somewhere along the way, play became something you register for, pay for, schedule and get good at. We want to make it easy again. So we turn classrooms, blank walls, schoolyards and neighbourhood parks into places people can move, learn, laugh and play together.

First-timers welcome. Bad at it is fine. Showing up counts.

A Place Isn't Enough. Somebody Has To Start The Game.

The first Sportswalls taught us that. We painted the courts. Some sat quiet. So we went back, taught the games and watched them fill up.

We've built GANP around that lesson ever since.

  • A place. A wall, a classroom, a park. Something you already have.
  • A game. Simple rules anyone can start in a minute.
  • Someone who pulls you in. A teacher, a leader, a neighbour.

We're Trying Something A Little Ridiculous.

Make Ontario the most active province in Canada.

Yes, we hear it. We're a small non-profit with a wagon full of paddles and a few buckets of paint.

We're not doing it with one giant program. One Sportswall. One classroom. One park. One neighbourhood at a time. If it works here, it should be simple enough for another community to pick up and run somewhere else.
